UCR STUDENT RECREATION CENTER




Happy New Year and Welcome back to campus! We hope your holiday season was filled with joy and cheer. As 2020 kicks off the start of a new decade and vision, if personal well-being and health are on your radar, the UCR Student Recreation Center is a great place to check out for different activities and resources that will help you forward in reaching your personal fitness goals.

From group fitness classes and outdoor excursions to cooking demonstrations and massage chairs, the Student Recreation Center is filled with many opportunities for you to explore your interests while meeting new people and building connections. Along with the different amenities that the Student Recreation Center provides, there are also employment opportunities for students to develop leadership skills. Whether you are interested in becoming an instructor for a group fitness class or looking forward to becoming a personal trainer, opportunities at the Student Recreation Center will help further strengthen the interpersonal skills that are essential for any occupation in the working field.

This week's blog post will focus on the UCR Student Disability Resource Center (SDRC).  For more than 50 years, the Student Disability Resource Center (SDRC) has been dedicated to the mission of promoting an inclusive educational experience for UC Riverside students through the advocacy of equal access, disability and ability awareness, and empowerment.
