With the quarter entering Week 7, different projects, assignments, and exams are well under way. As most department services transitioned online, so are the library resources! Read on for more information and details on some of the services UCR library is offering remotely.
  • Ask a Librarian
    • If you are uncertain about how library services have altered during this time or if you have questions that are not answered on the website, librarians are available virtually via text, 24/7 chat service, and email to help address your concerns. For more contact details, visit https://library.ucr.edu/research-services/ask-a-librarian.
  • Getting Library Materials
    • During COVID-19 Closure, many publishers and information providers have made resources available online. This includes UCR books and other materials that you may need for the remainder of the quarter. You can also access ebooks, databases, and online academic journals from off-campus.
  • Research and Class Instruction Support
    • If you need assistance for your research paper, class assignments, or other research needs, a librarian is available to work with you on your concern. If you need in-depth support, a Consultation Request Form is needed to be completed, which can be found here. For quicker questions, you can address them through the 24/7 chat service.

This includes different individualized programs, specialized campus support, and available student opportunities. UCR's first- cohort was shown to have outstanding first-gen student support by the Center for First-Generation Student Success, a nationally recognized source; more information can be found here .
