Stay Healthy

With all of the social distancing and shelter-in-place regulations enforced by different counties, it can become quite difficult to get adequate physical activity to stay healthy! With learning transitioned to online, staying at home means we are spending more time in front of a computer screen and moving our body less. Therefore, it is important to keep active to stay healthy. Being active is not only important for physical health but also crucial for mental well being!  The Student Recreation Center (SRC) has been temporarily closed due to the pandemic. However, they are now offering online classes! From the comfort of home, you can tune into HIIT workouts, yoga, Zumba, and even story clubs! The SRC is even offering massage classes so that you can learn how to give yourself or others a massage! Counseling Center & Online Services

As we are continuing to practice social distancing and self-isolation, spending a lot of time our time with our own thoughts can affect our wellbeing mentally and emotionally. Checking in with yourselves and your loved ones is important more so now than ever. Below are some resources and online services that may be helpful for you during this time. Transitioning to Remote Learning

Welcome to Spring Quarter of 2020! It is no doubt that we are living through difficult yet historical times. While the COVID-19 virus has affected our lives in many ways, we still have an obligation to try to be on top of our academics. Along with other college campuses, UCR has transitioned primarily to a remote working a learning environment for the Spring quarter. Though this is an unprecedented challenge for students, staff, and faculty of the university, the past few weeks have demonstrated the strength of our campus community's resiliency. Campus Advocacy, Resources & Education (CARE)

CARE (Campus Advocacy, Resources & Education) is a support program designed to end student sexual harassment and violence at UCR. CARE unites the community and organizes programs to provide resources and assistance related to issues associated with sexual assault and violence. CARE provides a variety of different resources. On campus, CARE provides numerous confidential counseling programs designated to help students. Off campus, CARE endorses resources such as Riverside Area Rape Crisis Center (RARCC) and Alternatives to Domestic Violence (ADV).  CARE also has programs to empower students through R'Garden, Healing through Art, and yoga! These are great ways to connect with other students who care about the issues of sexual violence.
